Witch hazel
Witch hazel is a solution that's made from the witch hazel shrub. It's often used on the skin as a mild cleanser. Witch hazel is also used in ointments or premoistened pads to relieve the pain caused by a hemorrhoid or an episiotomy. Some people use witch hazel for cold sores, insect bites, and skin irritations, like a razor burn. It's also found in skin care products, like facial toners.
